The East Meets West Corporation Foundation, which works in technology transfer in the manufacture of environment friendly products, will set up its branch in India soon. Dr. Hiru Bijlani, management consultant in the area of international business, will manage their show in India.

Incidentally, the East Meets West Foundation of New York, was partly instrumental in the setting up of Global Forum (currently headed by Mikhail Gorbachov) which fosters meeting between global leaders on environment related issues. The East Meets West Corporation of India will focus leaders on environmental related issues and particularly jute-based products.
